On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the inauguration ceremony of Museo Borsalino, a project born from the collaboration between the City of Alessandria and the Borsalino Foundation, was held at the historic headquarters of Palazzo Borsalino – Corso Cento Cannoni 21, Alessandria. This is a special date: in fact, April 4, 2023 marked the 166th anniversary of the founding of the company that represents the highest expression of Italian excellence in hat manufacturing. During the ceremony, which was attended by dignitaries and stakeholders, a special moment was dedicated to the age-old connection between Borsalino and the world of cinema. Bond, which in 1970 gave rise to an unprecedented event: Borsalino granted the use of its trademark to a film production set in the 1930s, starring Alain Delon and Jean-Paul Belmondo. The car used in the film, a vintage Fiat 514, was unveiled in front of the Museum’s entrance with the heirs of the two legendary lead actors-Anthony Delon and Paul Belmondo-on board. The photo taken in front of the Museum is destined to remain in Borsalino history.
