Borsalino Museum is a fascinating journey between past and present to discover the legendary Italian hat brand. Opened in 2023 on the initiative of the City of Alessandria and the Borsalino Foundation, the Museum is a dynamic and innovative space that holds together history, objects, anecdotes and geography. The tour route, consisting of multimedia technology stations and educational panels, is fully developed in Italian and English.
A series of three thematic areas runs through Palazzo Borsalino and unfolds a story that originated in 1857 and reaches the present day. The tour begins at Antica Casa, a multimedia installation that traces the main stages in the history of the hat factory and delves into its connection with the territory. Manifattura is the name of the area dedicated to hat-making process, where you can discover the techniques and secrets of Alexandrian artisans. Finally, we reach the Gallery section with more than two thousand hats on display, organized into narrative paths and enriched with extensive anecdotal information, for an incomparable experience.
